Article 1: Service
Lyra is an AI editor that structures works, characters, stories, scenes, pages, panels, dialogue, and related material to support manga creation. The service provides functions such as input-based planning support, editing support, image-generation support, and creative-data storage.
We may change the service for feature improvements, specification changes, maintenance, legal compliance, or other necessary reasons.
Article 2: Account registration
When using the service, users must provide accurate information and manage account information at their own responsibility. We are not liable for damage caused by unauthorized account use, third-party use, or inaccurate registration information, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 3: Credits and billing
Some processing, including image generation, uses credits. The conditions for consuming credits, the number granted, validity, and available features are as shown in the app or purchase screen.
Credits included in a monthly plan reset to the specified amount at each monthly renewal. Unused monthly-plan credits generally do not carry over to the next month. Purchased add-on credits are handled separately.
Article 4: Subscriptions
A subscription may renew automatically at the specified interval unless the user completes cancellation. After cancellation, the service may remain available until the end of any already-paid period.
Plan details, fees, renewal dates, and cancellation methods are as shown in the app or payment screen.
Article 5: User input data and generated content
Rights in works, text, images, character settings, prompts, and other materials entered or uploaded by users remain with the user or their rightful owner. Users represent that they hold the necessary rights or permissions for input materials.
We may process user input data as necessary to provide, store, and generate through the service; provide support; prevent misuse; and improve quality. Users are responsible for publication, sale, commercial use, publishing use, and other use of generated content.
Article 6: Prohibited conduct
Users must not engage in the following:
- Conduct that violates laws, public order and morals, or third-party rights
- Improper use of another party's copyrighted works, trademarks, likeness, personal information, or similar material
- Registering false information, impersonation, unauthorized access, or reverse engineering
- Placing excessive load on the service, its servers or networks, or other users
- Using improperly obtained accounts, payment methods, or materials
- Using the service in a manner we determine to be inappropriate
Article 7: No guarantee of AI-generated results
We do not guarantee that generated results will meet a user's intent, quality expectations, composition, dialogue placement, character depiction, non-infringement of third-party rights, or suitability for publishing, sales, advertising, or other uses. Users must verify the content and rights associated with generated material before publication or use.
Article 8: Suspension, changes, and account restriction
We may suspend, change, or interrupt all or part of the service due to maintenance, incidents, security measures, outages of external services, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
If a user violates these Terms, we may restrict, suspend, or delete the account, restrict generation features, or take similar measures.
Article 9: Refunds and credit returns
Conditions for refunds and credit returns are set out in the separate Refund Policy. Regeneration due to preferences about results, differences from expectations, or other user-side reasons is generally not eligible for a refund or credit return.
Article 10: Disclaimer
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage resulting from use of or inability to use the service. This does not apply where a disclaimer is not permitted under the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable law.
Article 11: Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute concerning the service, the court with jurisdiction over our location will be the agreed exclusive court of first instance.
